Jinan

 

Jinan is the capital of Shandong province in Eastern China. Also called “Spring City”, It is a sprawling city known for its many natural springs, most prominent being the park-enclosed Baotu Spring. 

As the capital city, Jinan has played an important role in the history of the region from the earliest beginnings of civilization and has evolved into a major national administrative, cultural, economic, and transportation hub. 

There are 16 universities located in Jinan city, which makes the city full of vitality and dynamism. Its population was 6.8 million at the 2010 census.
